About the Author

Born in Dayton, Ohio, Sarah V. Hines lived in St. Augustine, Florida, for a few years before settling in Washington, DC. She attends Northern Virginia Community College, where she studies international relations and anthropology. She loves crochet, her Bengal-demon cat, Balthazar, and visits with her family in the Pacific Northwest. Her favorite drink is hot chocolate, which is appropriate since her favorite season is winter. If you enjoyed her debut novel, Hubris, check in with her at SarahVHines.com for updates as the story continues.

“Hubris is about facing a monster that has beaten you down your entire life. You can keep your head down and hope that changes will be made by somebody else, or decide to be the one who risks it all to change fate. I wrote Hubris wanting readers to know that monsters can be challenged.”
